The KPU operates independently to conduct transparent and participatory elections, ensuring that student leaders are chosen through a legitimate and democratic process rather than appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>2023\/2024 academic year<\/strong>, the election featured a <strong>single candidate pair<\/strong>: <strong>Samantha Annabella<\/strong> from the <strong>Psychology Department (batch 2021)<\/strong> as President, and <strong>Nadya Roseline<\/strong> from the <strong>Law Department (batch 2021)<\/strong> as Vice President. Although uncontested, the election adhered to full democratic procedures, providing all students the opportunity to cast their votes. A total of <strong>987 votes<\/strong> were submitted, with <strong>959 in favor<\/strong> and <strong>28 not in favor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>official election results were announced on September 5, 2023<\/strong>, confirming the pair\u2019s mandate to lead the Student Executive Board.
