UPH Strengthens Stakeholder Engagement Through Curriculum Review and Development in the Faculty of Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

TANGERANG, 2024 <\/strong>– <\/strong>Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), through its Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL)<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, reaffirms its commitment to delivering quality education by conducting systematic and participatory curriculum reviews in accordance with university regulations. Guided by Rector\u2019s Regulation No. 002 of 2020<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>, as well as the procedural frameworks Flowchart Procedure for Conducting Focus Group Discussions (PRO08\/STA03\/SPMI-UPH)<\/a><\/strong> and Flowchart Procedure for Developing Operational Curriculum (PRO02\/STA03\/SPMI-UPH)<\/a><\/strong>, UPH ensures that each academic program undergoes comprehensive evaluation and renewal every four years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, the Faculty of Education<\/strong> embarked on a major evaluation of its 2021 curriculum<\/strong>, coordinated by CTL. This process included a series of Focus Group Discussions (FGDs)<\/strong> held from 14 June to 31 July 2024<\/strong>, involving a diverse range of stakeholders such as students, lecturers, alumni, industrial partners, local community representatives, and experts across seven study areas: Social Studies, Bahasa Indonesia, English, Mathematics, Biology, Christian Education, and Primary School Education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FGDs provided an interactive platform for participants to assess the relevance and effectiveness of the 2021 curriculum while contributing insights toward the development of the 2025 Outcome-Based Curriculum<\/strong>. These inputs play a vital role in ensuring that the updated curriculum aligns with educational standards, societal needs, and UPH\u2019s vision to nurture competent, value-driven graduates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the leadership of CTL and adherence to structured regulatory procedures, UPH continues to champion collaborative academic governance<\/strong>, ensuring that stakeholder voices remain central in shaping innovative and responsive curricula for the future of education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
