In his remarks, Minister <strong>Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu\u2019ti, MEd<\/strong> underscored that AI education will be a cornerstone in preparing Indonesia\u2019s <em>Golden Generation 2045<\/em>. \u201cWe congratulate UPH for opening the AI Faculty and appreciate the scholarship program for Indonesia\u2019s young talents,\u201d he said, affirming the initiative\u2019s role in expanding digital opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr. Mochtar Riady<\/strong>, founder of Lippo Group, highlighted that the AI discipline is indispensable for Indonesia\u2019s global competitiveness. \u201cAI is one of the most important technologies of our time. Strategic alliances with international partners, such as those with China, will ensure our technology adoption benefits the national economy,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr. Jonathan L. Parapak<\/strong>, UPH Rector, emphasized that the new faculty represents a strategic investment in Indonesia\u2019s human capital. \u201cWe are preparing a generation ready to innovate, create jobs, and lead responsibly in the digital era,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Education for Employability and Ethical Innovation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Faculty of Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> offers an international-standard curriculum covering <strong>Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Large Language Models<\/strong>, and <strong>Ethical AI<\/strong>. Its <em>Practice-Centered Learning (PCL)<\/em> model bridges theory and practice through industry projects, ensuring graduates enter the workforce ready to contribute to innovation-driven industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dean <strong>Dr. Rizaldi Sistiabudi<\/strong> explained that the program emphasizes both technical mastery and moral responsibility. \u201cWe aim to create AI professionals who combine innovation with integrity, capable of making ethical decisions that serve society and advance human progress.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To strengthen workplace readiness, UPH has forged partnerships with <strong>MetaCarbon<\/strong>, <strong>Zhejiang University<\/strong>, and companies within the <strong>Lippo Group<\/strong>\u2014including <strong>Nobu Bank<\/strong>, <strong>Siloam Hospitals<\/strong>, and <strong>Multipolar<\/strong>. These collaborations open pathways for <strong>internships, applied research, and international exposure<\/strong>, ensuring students gain practical experience while contributing to sustainable industry growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Driving Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>By developing talent in high-value digital sectors, UPH\u2019s AI Faculty directly supports the expansion of productive employment and inclusive economic development.
