As part of this ongoing effort, the Department of Student Development &amp; Alumni Engagement (SDAE) organized the <strong>Student Organization\u2019s Leader Intensive Development (SOLID) 2024<\/strong>, a leadership development program specially designed for UPH\u2019s student organization leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Held at the D-501 Auditorium, UPH Lippo Village Campus, SOLID 2024 gathered more than <strong>400 student leaders<\/strong> from various Student Associations, Student Organizations, Student Activity Units (UKM), and Student Service Units (ULM). Through this program, participants received essential training in leadership, ethics, communication, and organizational management\u2014skills that are fundamental for fostering <strong>decent, inclusive, and growth-oriented leadership<\/strong> in the future workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the opening session, <strong>Dr. Andry Panjaitan<\/strong>, Associate Vice President of Student Development UPH, reminded student leaders that every activity within UPH\u2019s student organizations should reflect the university\u2019s vision of <em>True Knowledge, Faith in Christ, and Godly Character.<\/em> He emphasized that leadership is about serving with purpose and building integrity. \u201cA leader can only lead when they have a clear vision. She encouraged participants to embrace persistence, resilience, and a strong inner drive\u2014qualities that reflect the principles of <strong>productive work and continuous self-improvement<\/strong>. \u201cYou must know your \u2018why.\u2019 Without purpose, motivation fades easily. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn\u2019t work hard,\u201d she reminded the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later sessions focused on practical leadership competencies such as <strong>priority management, time management, and teamwork<\/strong>. <strong>Chrysan Gomargana<\/strong> shared insights on organizing responsibilities efficiently, while <strong>Dr. Antakirana<\/strong>, CEO of PT Komunika Cipta Performa, discussed how to lead effectively even with limited resources. He encouraged student leaders to build collaborative cultures and leverage digital tools to enhance productivity\u2014key skills for sustaining growth and innovation in any organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional discussions led by <strong>Jessica Sibarani<\/strong>, <strong>Meishiana Tirtana<\/strong>, and <strong>Dhamarita Kusumaningrum<\/strong> explored organizational governance, public communication, and partnership development. These sessions equipped student leaders with strategies to manage programs responsibly, build networks, and foster <strong>ethical, sustainable organizational practices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SOLID 2024 concluded with an <strong>Inauguration and Appreciation Ceremony<\/strong> on September 12, celebrating the commitment of UPH\u2019s student leaders.
