One such partnership is with <strong>OTTO Health Care<\/strong> in the Netherlands, formalised through a Letter of Intent in March 2023. Through its International Placement Program, UPH Faculty of Nursing graduates receive international professional exposure and clinical experience, supported by Dutch language training and placements with ETZ Hospital and HMC Hospital. The collaboration remains ongoing, with participating graduates completing the programme in 2025 before returning to Indonesia to contribute their international experience to the national healthcare sector.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-layout-2 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">\n<p>UPH also strengthens global health research through the <strong>Mochtar Riady Institute for Nanotechnology (MRIN),<\/strong> part of the College of Health Sciences UPH. In 2025, MRIN became an official member of the <strong>WHO International Pathogen Surveillance Network (IPSN),<\/strong> joining a global network focused on strengthening pathogen surveillance and public health preparedness. Beyond network participation, MRIN secured the <strong>2025 Academy of Medical Sciences Networking Grant<\/strong> in collaboration with the University of Oxford for the INDIGO project on gonorrhoea surveillance in Indonesia. A key partnership is with <strong>PT Siloam Hospitals International Tbk,<\/strong> one of Indonesia\u2019s major healthcare networks. Through this collaboration, UPH strengthens the practical education and professional development of its students while contributing to broader healthcare initiatives across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The partnership supports <strong>opportunities for UPH students and healthcare professionals to gain practical experience<\/strong> in diverse healthcare settings, including initiatives that extend healthcare services to underserved and remote communities. These engagements help address disparities in healthcare access while enabling students and faculty to apply their academic and clinical expertise in real-world contexts.
