CIKARANG, 2022 – To equip professionals and students with insights into the changing world of work, Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) hosted a public seminar titled “Organizing the Future of Work for Global Competitiveness in the New Era.” The event, held at the UPH Learning Hub Cikarang, brought together business leaders, young professionals, and learners eager to understand how industries are reshaping in the digital age.

The seminar featured Dr. Robertus Maria Bambang Gunawan, Chief Corporate Human Capital Management at PT Mitra Cakrawala International and Commissioner at Sarana Global Finance Indonesia, and Sweet Bertha Diah Pudjiastuti, General Manager of Customer Interaction at PT Linknet Tbk and UPH Magister Manajemen alumna.

Dr. Bambang highlighted how today’s competitiveness depends on building human capital that adapts to change. “Technology is evolving quickly, but real progress happens when people grow with it,” he said. Meanwhile, Bertha Pudjiastuti shared practical insights on agile leadership and how customer-focused innovation keeps businesses relevant in a fast-moving economy.

The discussion touched on key themes such as digital transformation, sustainable employment, and continuous skill development. Participants were encouraged to see the future of work not as a challenge but as an opportunity—to grow, collaborate, and create meaningful careers that contribute to long-term economic progress.

Although seats were limited, the seminar sparked inspiring conversations about the importance of lifelong learning, inclusivity, and innovation in the workplace. Many attendees left with new perspectives on how to stay resilient and competitive in their professional journeys.

Through initiatives like this, UPH continues to empower Indonesia’s workforce—connecting education, ethics, and employability to nurture graduates who are ready to lead, adapt, and make a positive impact on the nation’s growth.
