University Bolsters Psychological Support with Special Needs Specialist

TANGERANG, 2023 – Universitas Pelita Harapan has appointed clinical child psychologist Fransisca Febriana Sidjaja, M.Psi., Ph.D., to its Faculty of Psychology and the Cornerstone Psychological Centre, enhancing its support services for both the university community and the public. Sidjaja has served as a permanent lecturer at the university since July 2022.
Sidjaja holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The University of Queensland, Australia, which she attended after receiving the Australian Leadership Award scholarship in 2010. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Indonesia. As a practitioner, Sidjaja focuses on children and adolescents with special needs, including conditions such as Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and learning difficulties. She is also a certified consultant for parents of children with special needs from Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) International.
At the Cornerstone Psychological Centre, a counseling service open to the general public at UPH, Sidjaja practices as a child psychologist. She is committed to equipping parents and supporting children with special developmental conditions to help them maximize their potential. Her services are available in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
