UPH offers a diverse range of academic programs designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness. The university supports educational equity through scholarships and financial aid, ensuring access for students from various backgrounds. UPH also emphasizes continuous improvement in teaching methods, curriculum development, and faculty training. By promoting lifelong learning and investing in educational resources, UPH aims to deliver a transformative education that prepares students to contribute effectively to society and the global community.

PUBLIC RESOURCES (LIFELONG LEARNING)
As a university, UPH is committed to contribute to Indonesia’s quality of education. Therefore, UPH provides free access to educational resources for those not studying at the university. Various courses are available for the public such as: Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Language), Business and Technology, Law, Computer Science, Nursing, Communication and Political Science and many others. The topics are related with the majors available in the university. These courses are managed by UPH Centre of Teaching and Learning (CTL). Upon the completion of each courses, UPH will provide certificate for the participant.

The free online resources offered by UPH can be accessed using learn.uph.edu, an LMS (Learning Management System) of UPH. The system can also use by the public who take the online free courses as long as they register themselves.

PUBLIC EVENTS (LIFELONG LEARNING)
As a university, all the year round UPH conducts various educational events that are open to general public.
Various educational events on the university and faculty level are:
- B20GoestoCampus, as part of UPH Festival 2022, UPH in collaboration with Business 20 (B20) and Indonesian G20 Studies Center were hosting a seminar called B20 Goes to Campus. The event is intended to give more understanding and learn how campus community can work hand in hand with B20 to support G20 Presidency of Indonesia. The event is open for public.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING EVENTS (LIFELONG LEARNING)
Besides formal education, UPH also offers events at university that are open to the general public: executive education programs, short courses and/or vocational training.
There are programs that are conducted regularly, and also programs that are conducted based on demand of the public.
The examples of regular vocational training events are:
- Executive Competency Development Program 2023
This program is a Comprehensive Development Program for those are selected to be the future leader at Sinarmas Mining Group of companies. - Management Development Program 2022/2023
This program is a Development Program for the Managers to prepare them with knowledge, skills and perspective to lead the business effectively and to run excellence operations.
The two regular vocational training is conducted regularly every year by UPH Faculty of Economy and Business.

EDUCATION OUTREACH ACTIVITIES BEYOND CAMPUS
Every study program in UPH regularly conducting education outreach activities beyond campus, known as Community Services. In this event, every study program is finding community who need helps or assistance to solve problems, particularly problems that are related to their field/major. The program is lead by lecturers and may involving students. The financial support for community service program may come from external parties, from the university and/or self-funded by the lecturer and/or involved students.
For the academic year of 2022, there are 337 Community Services that are conducted by UPH. The data is from LPPM (Centre of Research and Community Service) unit.

- Faculty of Music: “Pelatihan Guru Musik” (2023)
- ULM Service Learning Community to Tanjung Anom Elementary School in Mauk, Tangerang. The event is called Mari Membaca 7 (Let’s Read 7) on 6, 10, 11 May 2023. The activities include: drawing mural on the school’s wall, children education seminar, story telling, educative games, etc. The event was carried out by lecturers and students from various study programs in UPH.

LIFELONG LEARNING ACCESS POLICY
To ensure that access to the various activities is accessible to all, regardless of ethnicity, religion, disability, immigration status or gender; UPH has several policies:
- UPH Statute regarding UPH roles’ as an educational institution that have to serve the community through the Tridharma Activities, especially Community Service. In it stated in the document that Universitas Pelita Harapan was founded with the spirit “to be a blessing for this nation,” as envisioned by its founders, Dr. (H.C.) Ir. Johannes Oentoro, Ph.D., and Dr. (H.C.) James T. Riady, in 1994. With this hope, Universitas Pelita Harapan is built on a foundation of biblical Christian faith and adheres firmly to the values of “true knowledge, faith in Christ, godly character,” with the ultimate goal of glorifying the name of the Lord.
The spirit has been implemented by UPH to conduct various education that open the opportunity for stakeholders from various backgrounds to participate in UPH’s programs. - UPH Educational Framework is a document that identifies university-wide goals that guide the university’s holistic curriculum. This educational framework is based on UPH’s vision and mission and guides curricular and co-curricular programs and activities in which students learn and develop.
In section III, Program Learning Outcome, there are some examples given for questions related to the learning outcome expected from UPH students. In the examples regarding UPH graduate role as a scholar, Commit to life-long learning is one example of the learning outcome. - UPH Policy about Research and Community Services
The vision and mission of UPH involve transformational education components to empower future leaders in societal transformation, advancing knowledge and technology, and developing positive character and behavior for the glory of God. Therefore, UPH’s outstanding research and community services, includes studies in cutting-edge science and technology, character development, religiosity, holistic human well-being, as well as sustainable socio-cultural and economic innovations. UPH upholds an inclusive admissions policy in its Article 60, welcoming students from diverse regions, ethnicities, religions, races, genders, social standings, and economic backgrounds . This approach respects the unique identity of the UPH community. UPH also offers admission opportunities to students with special needs, provided that adequate facilities and resources are available to support them. Additionally, UPH accepts international students in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This inclusive policy aligns with the university’s commitment to accessibility and equality, ensuring that educational opportunities are open to all, regardless of background or circumstances.
