TANGERANG, 2024 – Universitas Pelita Harapan is cultivating a new generation of leaders through a structured, multi-stage development journey. The university has established a comprehensive framework that begins with foundational programs for all first-year students and progresses to specialized training for experienced student leaders, including the Intermediate Leadership Training and Advanced Leadership Training programs.

The leadership journey starts with the Keystone program, a mandatory event for new students designed to instill a core understanding of leadership through self-mastery and character development. Following this, the Cornerstone Leadership Initiative offers the next stage of development, equipping students with the skills to lead and influence others effectively through workshops and practical application.

For students who have assumed active leadership roles in campus organizations, the path continues with the Intermediate Leadership Training (ILT). The program, themed “Ignite Your Potential, Thrive with Excellence,” brought together dozens of student leaders to further refine their capabilities. A significant aspect of this training was the strong representation of female leaders, with women comprising a vast majority of the participants, fostering an environment rich in women’s mentorship.

The final stage of the leadership pipeline is the Advanced Leadership Training (ALT), designed for the most senior student leaders. Under the theme “LEAD WITH VISION, EXCEL IN ACTION,” the training engaged a select group of participants in sessions focused on high-level strategy and execution, such as “Act As One” and “Excel At Execution.” This intensive program also demonstrated a commitment to developing female leaders, with women again forming a clear majority of the cohort. This comprehensive, tiered approach ensures a continuous development process, preparing students for impactful leadership roles within the university and beyond.
