Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) upholds a strong commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment by providing students with comprehensive access to sexual and reproductive health education and services. The university promotes awareness, prevention, and care through integrated programmes combining academic, health, and counselling support. UPH’s campus clinic plays a vital role in this effort by offering consultation services, essential reproductive health items, and medicines, particularly supporting women’s health needs.

Previously called PPKS, UPH has a unit dedicated to spreading awareness and preventive education for sexual and other violence, called the Satgas Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan di Perguruan Tinggi (PPKPT), or in English, the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Higher Education Institutions. The task force conducts multiple socialisations to both students and parents, especially in the beginning of the academic year in the UPH Festival.

Alongside UPH Clinic, these initiatives ensure that students receive both preventive education and direct health services, reflecting UPH’s holistic approach to nurturing dignity, safety, and well-being within the campus community.
